The Public Service Commission has just released an updated syllabus for the Kharidar examination. It’s crucial to understand what changes have been made and what new topics are now included. There was Science in Kharidar second paper before but now science is completely removed from the syllabus.

In the revised syllabus, there are three stages to complete the entire examination, just like before. The final phase involves a computer skill test and an interview.

Kharidar Syllabus- 2080/2081 ( PDF )

Let’s go through each phase of Kharidar examination step by step:

First Paper – General Knowledge and Basic Office Skills Test (BOST):

This phase assesses general knowledge and basic office skills. Candidates will face 50 multiple-choice questions, each worth 2 marks. To pass, candidates need to score at least 40 marks out of 100. The duration of this phase is 45 minutes.

Second Paper – Office Management and Job Knowledge related Subject :

In the previous syllabus, there was a second paper that included Science. However, in the updated syllabus, Science has been completely removed from this phase.

The last phase consists of a computer skill test followed by an interview.
